Unpainted car bodies are often covered with exposed holes, especially in the passenger and engine compartments. Most of them need to be covered during the automotive manufacturing process. Vehicle body blockage can be carried out either in the paint workshop or on the final assembly line. There are the following reasons for the reserved holes in the vehicle body:
■ Allow the vehicle's electrophoretic fluid to fully flow out and proceed to the next spraying process (such as storing spare tires in the trunk area of the car)
■ To meet the transportation needs of the vehicle body during the manufacturing process (such as conveyor belts)
■ Provide entry points for specific spare parts (such as wiring harnesses) during the car assembly process
■ Idle accessory installation holes for optional vehicle models
