Lightweight damping board

Lightweight damping board

Constrained damping material is a viscoelastic damping material bonded between the body metal plate and the stiffness of the constraint layer (usually metal plate), when the structure is bent and deformed, the body metal plate and the constraint layer to produce a relative slip movement, viscoelastic damping material to produce a part of the mechanical energy loss of the structure of the shear strain.

Product Introduction

Product Characteristics

A damping layer that is subject to elastic constraints is called a constrained damping layer. The thickness of the damping material is about twice the thickness of the body plate. According to the different ways of energy dissipation, they are divided into free damping materials and constrained damping materials.

The basic performance requirement of constrained damping material in the standard is that the loss factor is ≥0.7. For example, the loss factor of constrained damping coating for ships of AIJIAJIA is in the range of 0.75-1.9.

Constrained damping materials are widely used in many fields such as ships, automobiles, etc., and like free damping materials, they are a relatively mature damping material technology.
